The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) awarded this book a medal for creativity in 2015, for authors of distinguished works in the field of humanist social sciences. During my research I conducted 65 interviews with the painters or their family members, among whom 63 are included in the representative list Of Slovak naive painters from Serbia.
